Undefeated professional boxer Jordan Joseph steps into the limelight when he has his fourth pro bout at the historic York Hall venue in Bethnal Green on the Olivia Goodwin-promoted New Era show next month.
Joseph, from Hemel Hempstead, turned professional in September 2014 and remains undefeated after three fights.
Trained by Don Charles in Finchley, Joseph is improving rapidly and demonstrated that in his last fight with a one-round demolition of Csaba Vinis from Hungary.
“I am ready to continue my journey. I am only 20 years of age and time is on my side,” said Joseph. “I will take one fight at a time but obviously my aim is to at least win a British title.”
Joseph, 20, turned professional as he teamed up with leading promoter/manager Steve Goodwin and is part of a 20-fight value for money card featuring former European Heavyweight Champion Richard Towers who has Adam Booth – David Haye’s former trainer – in his corner.
Joseph feels Hemel Hempstead has been a sleepy town as far as boxing is concerned but wants the town to get behind him as he moves towards titles.
“The area is starting to thrive as far as professional boxing is concerned,” he said. “Lightweight Mickey Diggin and heavyweight AJ Carter both come from Hemel Hempstead and Carter is fighting on the same show as me on September 5.
“I have great support and appreciate everyone getting behind me in my journey. I want all local boxing fans to join the movement and come and support me.”
Joseph will be attending a press conference for the show at the Aubrey Park Hotel in Hemel Hempstead on Tuesday, September 1 at 6.30pm. The public are welcome to go along and it is free to attend.
VIP and ringside tickets are sold out for the show on September 5. However, Joseph has some standard tickets left. For tickets contact him on 07460 818977 or purchase online {here|http://iboxingtickets.com/products/jordan-joseph-tickets}
