Berkhamsted’s Alice Hewson has been selected by England Golf for the European ladies’ and girls’ championships which take place at Helsingor Golf Club in Denmark early next month.
Joining Alice in the women’s team are Gemma Clews, Hayley Davis, Bronte Law, Meghan MacLaren and Charlotte Thomas.
All six players will also represent GB&I in the Vagliano Trophy match against the Continent of Europe from June 26-27.
Alice, 17, was an instrumental part of England’s winning team at the recent international against Spain and also won the Hampshire Rose competition earlier this season.
