HEMEL Sharpshooters edged out local rivals Gadebridge FC 2-1 to book their place in the final of the West Herts Junior Cup.
Chris Size opened the scoring for Gadebridge, before a 30-yard screamer from Sharpshooters’ Carl Bavington drew the game level.
And it was Sharpshooters who ultimately emerged victorious as a Warren Davies penalty clinched their final spot.
On league duty, Hemel Rovers finished their season on a high with a 6-1 win over bottom club Harpenden Rovers.
Hemel went behind early on, but the side responded emphatically to secure the win.
