Hemel Hempstead Corinthians won the first silverware in their history as they beat RH Motors 4-3 in a closely and evenly-fought BSFL League Intermediate Cup final.
Having taken a 2-0 lead and scoring two goals in a two-minute spell during the first half, Corinthians were pegged back to 2-2 at half-time.
Motors took the lead in the second half before Corinthians drew level. The match was decided with just over 10 minutes left when Paul Hunt scored from the penalty spot.
The other scorers for Corinthians were Craig Sharples, Alex Kinsley and Michael Dance, while Chris Cutler, Craig McMahon and Damien Kehoe got the goals for Motors.
On league duty, Premier Division Side Berko Tornadoes breezed to a 6-2 win over Gossoms End thanks to Sam Jolliffe (2), Tom Shaw (2), Ryan Sturges and Lee Stobbs, while Lewis Cruwys and Curtis Donaldson earned a 2-0 win for AFC Boars at Flaunden.
Division One saw Doves United clinch the title at Comets, while The Bull Athletic thrashed Boxmoor 11-1 with goals from John Baxter (2), Jack Marshall (2), Alex Marshall, Paul McManus, Adam Field, Gus Quigley, Ross Paterson, Matt Regan and Josh Connelly.
AC Grapes sealed promotion from Division Two as Drew Duggan (3), Paul Heath (3), Jamie Evans, Christian Wren and Chris Gillard earned a 9-2 victory against The Midland (pictured), while three goals from Jack Hoisier and one from Darren Brooks were enough for FC Intervino to win 4-3 at Echoes.
Kieran Ingram (3) and David Moorcraft got the goals for Landrovers in a 4-2 win over Tornadoes Reserves, and The Queens Head had David Ellis and Ben Osborne to thank for a 2-0 triumph against Jam United.
Division Three’s Echoes Reserves beat The Three Tuns 4-0 with efforts from Jack Watts (2), Dan Stearn and Jack Bridges, while Chris Linsell, Ollie Gurney and Aiden Byrne earned a 3-1 win for Apsley Athletic against Potten End Sunday.
Adeyfield Reserves and Greenacres shared a 1-1 draw in Division Four.
