Tring Running Club athletes competed in events across the country in an action-packed weekend.
Verna Burgess put in an excellent effort at the Leighton Buzzard 10K, where she was the first female finisher overall. Tom Griffin was first in the MV60 category.
Also in action at Leighton Buzzard were Colin Rees, Richard White, Anne Kippax and Shirley White.
Elsewhere, Sophie Evans led the Tring contingent home in the Milton Keynes Half Marathon in a time of 1 hour, 52 minutes and 32 seconds.
She was followed by Leon Bosch, Ian Rowlands, Louise Quinn, Matt West and Josephine Hetherington.
Just two Tring runners took part in the Milton Keynes 10k but there was a very impressive 20th place overall finish for 15-year-old Dominic Evans in a field of more than 1,000 runners.
George Hurst finished in 1,062nd position.
Meanwhile, the notoriously challenging Grizzly event attracted four hardy Tring runners.
A route consisting of more than 20 miles of mud, hills and bogs in the Devon countryside did not put off the Tring contingent who managed some excellent results.
Steve Long led the way in 24th place overall in a time of 2:43:01 to claim first in the MV50 category, and he was followed by Nigel Bunn, Peter Alford and Brian Layton.
