Boars hit VFC for six in BSFL Senior Cup semi-final rout

AFC Boars surged into the BSFL Senior Cup final as they thrashed VFC 6-0 in a one-sided semi-final clash.

James Davies and Lewis Crowys bagged a brace apiece, with Sam Kent and Jay Austin completing the rout.

Elsewhere, RH Motors raced into the Intermediate Cup final as they beat Apsley Athletic 5-2 courtesy of goals from Sean Lane (2), John Lane, Damien Kehoe and Adam Tizzard.

In league action, meanwhile, Ryan Sturges hit a hat-trick to help Berko Tornadoes to a thumping 5-1 win at Flaunden. Tom Shaw and Lee Stobbs were also on target.

The other game in the division saw Lee Butler bag a treble for Park Rangers in their 4-1 triumph over Gossoms End, with Chris Parperi also finding the net.

Division One side Doves United had Sam Flood (2), Stefan Owen-Edwards and Adiel Mannion to thank for a 4-2 victory at Robin Hood, while The Bull Athletic and Berko Athletic drew 1-1.

Echoes were on form in Division Two, thumping Landrovers 5-0 with goals from Dan Hughes, Lee Wood, Dave green, Mark Whittle and Peter Moore, while Drew Duggan’s solitary strike earned a 1-0 win for AFC Grapes at Woodhall Wanderers.

Alex Kinsley helped himself to a hat-trick and Paul Witham also netted as Hemel Hempstead Corinthians saw off The Queens Head 4-0, while Jam United and Berko Tornadoes Reserves shared a 2-2 draw.

Envirologistics were the big winners in Division Three, romping to a 5-1 win at Palace thanks to Mike Apps, Martyn Travers, Tommy North, Tommy Taylor and Phil Badrick.

Tom Childs (2), Ryan Chichester and Ricky Malski were the goalscorers for Adeyfield in a 4-1 triumph over The Three Tuns, while Potten End Sunday saw off Clarkwood 3-0 with strikes from Will Sterling (2) and Ned Ozkasim.

The other game in the division ended in a 1-1 draw between Park Rangers Reserves and Echoes Reserves.

Division Four saw Greenacres II thrash Olde Kings Arms 6-1 courtesy of goals from Scott Carrington (3), Mark Crampton (2) and Scott Webster, while Glenn Lodge, Lewis Bulled and an own-goal secured a 3-1 win for Old Bell Athletic against Hemel Athletic.

Shaun Stevens went goal crazy for Adyefield Reserves, scoring four times in a 5-1 romp at Berko Athletic Reserves. Danny Roberts was also on target for Adeyfield.

Elsewhere, AFC Old Bell Gate and Sporting Blackbirds could not be separated as their clash finished 2-2.

Adam Baker and Kenny Harrington scored for AFC, with Pete Fowler and Mikey Lloyd on target for Blackbirds.
