There is an action-packed weekend of SSML football ahead, with Dacorum’s three Premier Division sides all raring to go for tomorrow’s fixtures.
Berkhamsted welcome Oxhey Jets to Broadwater, while Leverstock Green host Cockfosters at Pancake Lane and Tring Athletic travel to London Tigers.
It is a big weekend for Mick Vipond’s Berko side as the Comrades look to bounce back from Tuesday night’s defeat at Colney Heath.
Third-placed Berko are challenging for the title but missed the chance to go top as Colney ground out a 1-0 victory.
Vipond will be expecting a reaction from his team tomorrow, and will be targeting nothing less than three points against the 18th-placed Jets.
A win for Berko and defeats for Ampthill Town and Hanwell Town would see the Comrades take top spot.
Levy Green, meanwhile, will also fancy their chances of taking all three points against 14th-placed Cockfosters.
Dene Gardner’s side played out a 0-0 draw with London Tigers on a sticky Pancake Lane pitch last Saturday, and their results are much improved over recent weeks following a nightmare start to the campaign.
Elsewhere, 13th-placed Tring look set for an evenly-matched clash with the Tigers, who currently sit in 17th place – five points behind Julian Robinson’s side.
Tring suffered a disappointing 3-1 defeat at home to Biggleswade United last weekend, but had previously recorded an impressive 2-0 win over high-flying St Margaretsbury.
