Hemel Town FC travel to Histon to take on Cambridge City tomorrow afternoon as they look to win their first away match since early October.
The Tudors go into the game full of confidence after an 8-1 thrashing of AFC Totton at Vauxhall Road in midweek, but they look set for a tough test against the Lilywhites, who sit two places below them in fourth in the Calor League Southern Premier Division.
Since their last away win – a dramatic 4-3 victory over Witham Town in the FA Cup – Hemel have drawn two and lost three of their games on the road, but they should have a number of key players back from injury and suspension for Saturday’s clash.
Second-placed Hemel are just three points behind league leaders Chesham United with two games in hand, and Dean Brennan’s side boast an impressive goal difference of +46 after 16 games.
Cambridge, meanwhile, have won four of their last six games including a 3-0 victory at Burnham in their last outing.
Football statistics and predictions website betstatz.com think Hemel will get back to winning ways on the road tomorrow.
“Cambridge City are no push-over and the stats suggest this will be a hard fought game,” said Betstatz owner Nick Gelis.
“Cambridge City have notched up 27 out of a possible 36 points from their last 12 league games and they have conceded only eight goals the last 10 league games.
“However, Hemel are on the back of a big 8-1 mid-week win, with 59 goals in 16 league games – the best goal ratio across Europe.
“The stats suggest Hemel will edge this game, so this week we are going for the Hemel win, 2-1 to Hemel and over 2.5 goals.”
